In Shariatpur, a prayer and Iftar gathering was organized by the district unit of the Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) to pray for the soul of martyr President Ziaur Rahman, the recovery of country leader Begum Khaleda Zia, and the good health of Mia Nuruddin Appu. Along with this, Iftar was distributed to pedestrians as part of their program.
The Iftar distribution ceremony was inaugurated on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at Shariatpur Court area by Jamal Uddin Bidut, the General Secretary of Shariatpur District Jubo Dal.
The Iftar distribution event, led by Iskak Sardar, the president candidate of Shariatpur District Chhatra Dal, was attended by numerous leaders, including Atikur Rahman Khan, district JCD leader, Faruk Khan, former president of JCD of Jazira University College, Al Islam Mridha, Senior Vice President of Jazira Municipality JCD, BM Sohaq, former organizational secretary of Jazira University College JCD, Rony, former joint secretary of Upazila Chhatra Dal, Nazmul Hasan, former organizational secretary of Gosarhat Shamsur Rahman College JCD, Anowar Khan, Shahadat Hossain Sardar, and many more.
Furthermore, an Iftar and prayer session was held later at Shariatpur Government College ground with JCD leaders and workers. During this session, prayers and supplications were made for the soul of the martyr President Ziaur Rahman, the recovery of Begum Khaleda Zia, and the good health of Mia Nuruddin Appu.
