The National Teachers Forum, Shariatpur District Branch held its biennial council session.
On Saturday (March 15), the council took place at Shameem Plaza in the district town.
The chief guest of the council was Mohammad Altaf Hossain Gazi, the Divisional Organizational Secretary of the Faridpur Division of the National Teachers Forum.
The special guest was S. M. Ahsan Habib, the Secretary of Women and Family Welfare of the National Teachers Forum's central committee.
Speeches were delivered by the Chief Advisor of the Shariatpur District Branch of the National Teachers Forum, Maulana Anwarul Haque, and the President of the Shariatpur District Branch of the Bangladesh Mujahid Committee, Sadr Alhaj Mufti Ferdous Ahmad, among others.
During the council session, a partial committee was announced for the 2025-26 term, with Maulana Ali Azgar as the President, H.M. Quddus as Vice-President, M. M. Hafizur Rahman as the General Secretary, and Master Delwar Hossain as the Organizing Secretary.
Afterward, the c hief guest administered the oath to the newly elected committee members, followed by a special prayer and monajat, marking the conclusion of the session.
