VP Nur says the state reform movement started from the 2018 quota reform movement

The journey of the State Reform Movement began with the 2018 quota reform movement, according to Nurul Haque Nur, the Chief Coordinator of the Gono Adhikar Parishad and former Vice President of Dhaka University Student Union (DUCSU).

He made this remark while delivering the keynote speech at a discussion session and Iftar Mahfil organized by the Youth Rights Council South on March 12 (Wednesday) at Royal Aromate in Segunbagicha.

The event was presided over by Jahangir Hiron, President of the Youth Rights Council South, and was attended by several prominent leaders, including Rashed Khan, General Secretary of Gono Adhikar Parishad, Faruk Hasan, Spokesperson, Abu Hanif, Media Secretary, Sakil Uzzaman, Office Secretary, Advocate Nure Ershad Siddiqui, Senior Member, Shahidul Fahim, Central President of Youth Rights Council Monjur Morshed Mamun, General Secretary of Mehendiganj Upazila Nazmul Hasan Kanan, and other leaders from Gono Adhikar Parishad, Youth Rights, Student Rights, and affiliated organizations.

In his speech, VP Nur emphasized, "If you, like the past government, indulge in illegal activities such as occupation, extortion, and other misdeeds, and cause the suffering of people, the awakened public will not forgive you either." He further urged the leaders and workers of Gono Adhikar Parishad to remain vocal and maintain the momentum that they have gained in the hearts of the people, even after overcoming difficult times and challenges.
